• Failure Mode Text Field Sizes: The following changes have been made to Failure Mode text field sizes

• Analysis Navigator: Excessive flickering of Analysis navigator buttons has been eliminated. Buttons are now created much more quickly after clicking on the Facilitate tab for the first time.

• Export File Names: RCM Desktop now suggests file names for Export files which contain action (ie "Exported", "Checked Out", or "Returned") date & time, user name and computer name in addition to the analysis reference. This makes it much easier to see what an export file is, where it came from and when.

• Cancel Checkout: In the network version, only an administrator can Cancel an analysis Checkout.

• RCM Setup Window Grids: Quick customisation of data grids in the RCM Setup and Administration window is now enabled.

• Deletion Tracking: Deletion of records is no longer tracked. This will improve database performance (particularly when importing and exporting).

• Multi-Line Editor Auto-Height: All editors that can contain multiple lines of text now automatically grow in size to keep all text visible.

• Decision Logic Responses Hint: The Analysis Reference is no longer used as the hint text for the Decision Logic Responses area of the Facilitate tab.

• Database Selection Window: The Database Selection window now indicates whether or not each database server is running or stopped.

Fixed:

• Opening Maximized Windows: Fixed problem which caused windows to be drawn out of position when opened in a maximized state.

• Failure Mode Details Not Visible: Fixed issue which caused inability to scroll down to some fields in the Failure Mode details panel when a large font was in use.

• Open Supporting Comments Box: Previously, it was too easy to open the Decision Logic Supporting Comments box unintentionally - this has been fixed.

• Flickering Comments Box: The Comments box in the Facilitate tab no longer flickers during text entry.

• Analysis Navigator Buttons: Buttons were sometimes incorrectly positioned after applying consequence filters; this has been fixed.

• Downtime: Was incorrectly limited to 7 digits; this has been corrected.

• Import Analysis: Permanently corrected error that caused a recently-imported analysis to allocate incorrect references for new functions, functional failures and failure modes.

• Import Lookup Tables: Corrected error which caused Lookup Tables (eg list of Skills) not to be updated during analysis import.

• Imported Frequencies and Severities: Corrected error which caused Failure Mode Frequency and Severity values to appear to go missing after importing an analysis.

• Error Moving Failure Mode: Corrected error which could cause a "Key Violation" message to appear after dragging a Failure Mode.

• Export Analysis Dialog: Corrected minor error in the title caption for Export and Checkout dialog boxes.

• Switching Back to Facilitate Tab: Corrected error which caused Facilitate tab to display a different Failure Mode when user switches to another tab and then back to the Facilitate tab.

• Double Login Request: Under certain circumstances, a user could be asked to log in two times. This has been fixed.

• "Invisible" Windows and Dialogs: If a user switches from multiple displays to a single display, it was possible for some windows and dialog boxes to be drawn on a non-existent display and, hence, be completely inaccessible. This has been fixed.

New:

• Asset Tree: It is now possible to open an RCM Analysis from within the Asset Tree window.

• Worth Doing Calculator: Enable reliability to be entered in Failures Per Year in Estimated and Looked Up tabs.

Fixed:

• Asset Tree: Corrected error that prevented some assets from being copied during drag'n'drop.

• Import Analysis: Temporary workaround to correct error that caused a recently-imported analysis to allocate incorrect references for new functions, functional failures and failure modes.

• Deleting a Locked Analysis: Corrected error that allowed a Locked analysis to be deleted.

• Worth Doing Calculator: Corrected errors in calculation when downtimes and/or job times are specified in months.

• Worth Doing Calculator: Some superfluous text was appearing when the worth-doing calculation for restoration and Discard tasks was copied to the clipboard. This is now fixed.

Fixed:

• Truncated Redesign Title: the Title field of Redesigns can be up to 255 characters long; only the first 50 characters were being displayed on screen and in reports. This has been fixed.

• Restoring Windows: windows minimized to the RCM Desktop task bar were sometimes not restored correctly (i.e. they remained minimized). This has been fixed.

• Worth Doing Calculator: Downtime cost fields could be left blank (which could cause an error). This has been fixed.

New:

• Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl-W now launches the Worth-doing Calculator

• Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl-F now launches the Failure-finding Interval Calculator

• Worth-doing Calculator: can now right-click in any materials grid to copy existing entries from any other materials grid

• Failure-finding Interval Calculator: new button to copy calculation details to the Windows clipboard

Changed:

• Facilitate Tab: background colour of Functions and Functional Failure grids changed to white

• Facilitate Tab: pop-up hints for Function, Functional Failure and Failure Mode navigators no longer obscure the text beneath them

• Facilitate Tab - Failure Effects: Failure Effects field is now always forced to be visible (with default text) immediately after entering Failure Mode text

• Failure-Finding Interval Calculator: now asks for confirmation before closing with unsaved data

Fixed:

• "As 1A1" - Copy Failure Effects: failed if Failure Effects field already contained more than one line

• Audit Report: sometimes failed to print some assets in operating context section

Fixed:

• Network Versions - Server Not Started: incorrect error message was displayed to user if remote database server was not started. This has been corrected.

New:

• Facilitate Tab - Decision Logic Responses Pane: new context menu for clearing all decision logic responses and clearing all supporting comments

• Facilitate Tab - Decision Logic Response Questions: new context menu for copying, cutting, clearing and pasting supporting comments

Changed:

• Supporting Comments Box: auto-save feature removed to avoid record synchronisation issues

Fixed:

• Facilitate Tab - Decision Logic Responses Pane: display of responses was not correctly refreshed after copying from another failure mode

New:

• Setup and Administration Window, Folder Locations: new tab for displaying the location of folders on your computer that are important to RCM Desktop

• Default Import/Export Folders: the installer now creates the default Import and Export folders

Changed:

• Import/Export Folders: default Import and Export folder locations changed to eliminate potential issues with Windows Vista and Windows 7

• Bug Report Folder: bug report folder location changed to eliminate potential issues with Windows Vista and Windows 7

• Import Wizard: now shows Analysis Checkout Sequence Number
